Touch of Kindness

TOUCH OF NATURE CARDGood morning! I hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine was spent working in the yard and now I am sore. The perils of growing older, I suppose.

This card is one I made for my Stampin' Up demo in return for a gift she gave me. Once again I pulled out Touch of Nature (Stampin' Up). I stamped the fern with black Stazon, on Almost Amethyst card stock, and heat embossed it with clear.

Touch of Nature Stampin' Up card
I stamped the flower with black Stazon, on Whisper White card stock, and heat embossed that, as well. I colored the flower with water color pencils and heat embossed it with clear, by first covering it in Versa Mark.

The layers are Almost Amethyst, So Saffron, both sponged with Lavender Lace and So Saffron inks, and basic black card stock. The flower was cut out and raised with pop dots.

Have a great day!

This is gorgeous. I love the colors and the leafy foliage behind the flower.

You must have mastered the sponging. I tried it the other day and it looked nothing like yours.
Another beauty!

This is beautiful!! I really love the sponging around the edges; it gives the card so much richness. Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful card Theresa! Love the way you have put the flower over the fern, and would never have thought of that colour combo, but it looks good!
