Flowers Bloom

Stampendous flower stampThe flower stamp in this card is from Stampendous and the "Thank You" is from Spring Solitude (Stampin' Up). I used two of my handmade flowers from Joanne. I wanted to use black brads in the centers, but I ran out of black. So I colored these with black StazOn ink and clear embossing powder.

I used water color pencils to color the flowers and then embossed them with clear embossing powder. The edges are sponged with So Saffron ink. I backed the flower layer with black, then Ruby Red, sponged with red ink. The card base is More Mustard.

There is still time to enter my blog candy contest, if you haven't yet.

Have a great day!

Yet again, the sponging makes the focal image look bright and bring the focus. Creative way of making matching brads. Now off to go make some flowers :-)
