Bunny Basket

Good morning! Here is a little Easter basket treat holder I came up with for the release party last week. I used images from Spring Basket and Chocolate Bunnies.

I stamped the basket twice and colored with Copics. I started by filling in the entire basket image with Y21.

Added Y23.

Then added E35. I colored the second basket the same way.

I trimmed both baskets, leaving tabs on the sides and bottoms, then scored along the tabs.

I cut a piece of Pure Luxury Lemon Drop card stock to 1.5 by 4 inches, then scored at 1.25 and 2.75 inches.

Adhered the basket tabs to the center section of the card stock panel.

Folded up the baskets and adhered the side tabs on one side.

Then adhered the second side.

I used a hole punch to place a hole on each side. Then I twisted two pipe cleaners together and inserted them in the holes, spreading them open on the inside to secure.

I colored the Chocolate Bunnies image with Copics and cut it out. To hold it in place, I made a tiny snip in the side of the basket and slid the bunny in it.

I filled the basket with Easter grass and some cream eggs, then tied a bow on the handle.

Thanks for visiting. I hope you have a happy day!
