Friday Flowers

Hello and happy Friday! We have a new color challenge posted at StampTV. I used images from Aloha and Hope Grows on my card.

This week's colors are Wild Dandelion, Red Hot and Black Onyx. I hope you'll play along. One random player will win the stamp set of their choice from Gina K Designs!

I stamped the plumeria flower, from Aloha, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copics, starting with Y17 where I wanted the color the deepest.

Added Y13.

Added Y11, leaving a bit of white space for highlighting. Then I used my blender pen to soften the color line and let some color bleed into the highlighted area.

Used a C3 marker to add a little shadow where the petals overlap.

I sponged Vivid Brick Red ink on a rectangle of Pure Luxury White.

Stamped the branch, from Hope Grows, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

The flowers were cut out and popped up on the background using Pop Dots. I added a self adhesive pearl to the centers. I layered with Pure Luxury Red Hot, Black Onyx and Wild Dandelion. The card base is Ivory.

Thanks for the visit. I hope you have a great weekend!

What a stunning, eye-popping card. Thanks also for your tutorial on how you colored the flowers. I'm still learning to color with my Copic Ciao markers and this is helpful.
