Fanciful Vase

Hello. Here is a card I made using my new set Fanciful Fall, along with the vase from Melanie's new set, Buds and Vases.

I colored the flower (Fanciful Fall) with Copics, starting with YR07.

Added Y17.

Then I added Y21, leaving a small area uncolored for a highlight. I used my blender pen to soften the transition to the highlight.

I colored the remaining flowers the same way, then used YG25 on the stem. After coloring, I cut out the image.

Next, I stamped the vase (Buds and Vases) and colored with Copics, starting with C1.

Added C3.

Used B00 for the water. Sorry about the blurry photo.

I wanted the stems showing through the vase to be lighter so I stamped the image with Memento London Fog.

Then I colored those with YG23 and N3.

I cut the background using Labels 4 Nestabilities and sponged Memento Cantaloupe while still in the die.

I adhered the vase to the background using Pop Dots, then added the flowers, also with Pop Dots. I also added a leaf, from Buds and Vases, and tucked in a few more flowers on the side. The larger background layer was sponged with Memento Cantaloupe and embossed with my Swiss Dots Cuttlebug Folder.

I layered with Pure Luxury Sweet Mango and used a Sweet Corn card base.

Thanks for visiting. I hope you have a fabulous day!
