Bloomin' Moxie

Hello and happy Saturday. I'm feeling happy and proud for my daughter today. She graduated from high school last night and then spent the night at the Sober Grad celebration held by her school. She came home this morning, exhausted, but so happy after spending all night having fun with her fellow grads.

Today's card is for the Moxie Trigger Tuesday challenge.

Here is the inspiration photo for this week. I was inspired by the peach and green colors and the flowers. I added those two horizontal stripes at the bottom of my card to mimic the bands on the back of the chairs.

To start, I stamped the flowers from Hope Grows and colored with Copics, starting with R27.

Added R22.

Added Y17.

Then filled in most of the way with Y21 and used my blender pen to transition the highlights.

For the centers, I used Y17 and Y21.

Colored the remaining flowers the same way. I also used YG95 on the stem (not pictured). Then I cut out the image.

For the background, I sponged some Memento Cantaloupe.

Then sponged Memento New Sprout along the bottom.

Sponged Memento Angel Pink at the top.

Added Memento Tangelo along the very top.

Sponged Memento Bamboo Leaves along the very bottom.

Added Memento Rose Bud to the top to intensify the color a bit.

Stamped the leafy stem from Hope Grows with Memento New Sprout.

Then stamped it with Memento Bamboo Leaves.

Stamped the tiny leaf branch with Memento Tangelo, stamping a second time for a lighter image, before re-inking.

I popped up the image with Pop Dots and layered the Pure Luxury Black Onyx. The cardbase is Pure Luxury Heavy Base Weight White and those little bands on the bottom are just some scraps.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a great weekend.
