Challenge Thank You - Part 2
Hi there! Today I am continuing the thank you challenge hostess theme with a card for Vicki Dutcher, our retiring Sketch Challenge Hostess. I used this sketch challenge by Vicki for my card.
To make my background, I sponged Antique Linen Distress Ink.
Then sponged Peeled Paint Distress Ink.
Stamped the branch, from Hope Grows, with Peeled Pain Distress Ink.
I stamped the flower, from Friends Are Forever, and colored with Copics, starting with YR07.
Went over the first color with Y17 and blended out a bit.
I went around the edges of the petals with Y21 (missing from photo- sorry) and then used the blender pen to soften the highlights.
After coloring all the flowers, I used YG95 on the stems.
For the butterfly, from A Beautiful Life, I started with R46.
Went over the red and around the wings with YR07.
Filled in most of the rest with Y17, then used my blender pen to push the yellow into the highlight.
I created a second background layer the same way as the first and layered with Pure Luxury Chocolate Brown. The card base is Fresh Asparagus. The images were cut out and adhered with Pop Dots.
Thanks for stopping by. I'll be back tomorrow with another challenge hostess thank you card. Have a great day!
