Springy Vase Tutorial

Hi there! Here is a card I made for the Gina K Designs release party last week. I used my new stamp set, Vogue Vases 2.
And here is a look at the full stamp set. Vogue Vases 2 and all the new release products (including new card stock colors!) are now available at Gina K Designs.

To start my card, I stamped the tall vase using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on white card stock and began coloring with RV19 Copic marker.

Added RV17.

Filled in with RV13 and then cut out the vase.

For the background, I cut a piece of Pure Luxury White card stock to 2½ by 4½ inches and then sponged Memento New Sprout along the bottom.

Then sponged Memento Cantaloupe.

Sponged Memento Rose Bud at the top.

I stamped the flower stem using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

Began coloring with RV17.

Added RV13.

Used Y17 for the center and  YG05 for the stem.

I adhered the vase to the background, using Pop Dots.

 Then I added a shadow using BV000.

I stamped the birthday sentiment on white and cut it out using Spellbinders™ Nestabilities® Labels 1 and sponged lightly with Memento New Sprout while still in the die. I also added a band of Pure Luxury Bubblegum Pink, layered with Cream de Menthe. I added decorative brads to the band. I layered with white card stock and used  a Passionate Pink card base (4 ¼ by 5 ½ inches).

Thanks for stopping by. I hope your day is fantastic!

Such a pretty card, love the color combo. I'm a big fan of your blog and get a lot of inspiration from it. My last post is a card, where I followed one of your tutorial. Hope that's fine for you.
Wish you a great day.
