Butterfly Family - Photos Added

Here is another card from last week's previews, with the step by step photos added. I used Asela's new set, Nesting on this card.

I stamped the butterfly wings with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, then colored with Copic markers, starting with Y17 at the center of the wings.

Filled in with RV21.

Added some shading with RV25.

Deepened the shading with RV29.

Used Y17 again, this time on the dots along the outside edge of the wings. I colored a second set of wings and then cut out both images.

For the background, I cut an oval using Nestabiltities, then sponged Memento Angel Pink.

Then sponged Memento Rose Bud.

I cut a rectangle and sponged the same way.

I adhered the butterflies using glue in the center and Pop Dots under the wings to give them some dimension. I added self adhesive pearls to the centers and some smaller ones along the edge of the ova. I used my Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder to emboss the rectangle and layered with Pure Luxury Passionate Pink. The oval was layered with white, cut using scallop oval Nestabilities.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!
