Hello! The CAS challenge at SCS this week is an inspiration challenge. I chose this photo from the inspiration site for my single layer card. The tree I used is from Growing in Unity from Unity Stamp Co. There is a larger version available as a single also.
To start, I created a mask by cutting a rectangle from a piece of scratch paper, using Nestabilities.
I put re-positionable tape on the mask and placed it on my Pure Luxury Heavy Weight White cardbase. Then I sponged very lightly with Memento Lulu Lavender ink.
Then I added a 1 1/4 inch circle mask and sponged Lulu Lavender again.
Sponged Memento Grape Jelly.
Sponged Memento Paris Dusk.
Stamped the dream tree using Stazon Black ink.
I added a sentiment from Tag Lines (Gina K), then added a few score lines.
Thanks for dropping by. I hope you have a great day!

This is stunning, Theresa! I adore that stamp and have been wanting in for-evuh ... it's so nice to see it in Blogdom again ... and so beautifully!
BEAUTIFUL tree and the color is brilliant! I want that stamp for me and my daughter. She wants to tattoo it and illustrate the four seasons on the tree! I know my daughter is well how do you say it! Hmmm!!
This is awesome. I am sometimes at a lost with what to do with the larger solid images like that tree and never thought of doing something like that. The black tree on the purple is absolutely stunning.
