Get Well Flowers

Here is a quick card I made this morning. I realized I don't make enough "get well" cards, so I thought I make on using Melanie's new sets, A Year of Flowers, and Say it With Flowers.

The flowers were stamped, then colored with Koh-i-noor pencils and blended with OMS. Then I cut them out and embossed them with clear embossing powder. They are placed on a Very Vanilla panel, that I sponged with Apricot Appeal ink.

The larger panel is Apricot Appeal card stock, sponged with Apricot Appeal ink. The card base is Very Vanilla, which I again, sponged with Apricot Appeal.

Hopefully, I won't need this anytime soon, but with flu season approaching, I suspect I will.

Here's hoping you have a happy (and healthy) weekend! Thanks for stopping by.

a great spirit lifter, excellent choice of the flower and colors! (do you know what type of flower that is BTW? LOL! It's one of the only pieces of info I'm lacking to post my tip sheet...)
