Doodled Dots Vase Tutorial and Video

Hi there! I have another Vogue Vases 2 card to share with you today. I paper pieced this one again, but shaded a different way.

Here is the video and if you prefer you can watch on Youtube by clicking here.

Begin by cutting and embossing ivory cardstock using Spellbinders® Captivating Squares die template. Then sponge Gina K Sweet Corn ink while the die cut is still in the die template.

Stamp the branch, from Vogue Vases 2, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

Use Copic marker YR04 to color in the flowers.

Use Copic E35 to color in the branch.

I wanted bright, white centers for the flowers, so I added a dot to each center using Faber Castell's Big White Pitt Pen.

Stamp the vase onto pattern paper using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Then cut out the time.

To shade the vase, apply Gina K Warm Cocoa ink using a sponge dauber, by swiping the edges with the dauber.

Then use a glitter pen to accent the detail of the pattern.

Adhere the vase to the die cut using 3D Foam Squares. Stamp the sentiment on a 1/2 inch strip of ivory cardstock and also adhere using 3D Foam Squares. Use a Tangelo Memento marker to add dots, 2 or 3 at a time, around the branch.

Layer with a piece of Dark Chocolate cardstock and adhere to an ivory card base. Then add self adhesive gems to embellish.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope your day is fabulous!

Dear Theresa, You are so talented. I love all your projects. Spellbinders new details seem to be harder for my cuttlebug plates to cut. I noticed you may have different plates when you cut this square, if so can you share with me what the plates are?
