Plumeria Card Tutorial

Hello. Today I have a simple card to share with you, using the plumeria flower from Tropical Nature.

I started by stamping the plumeria image with Memento Gray Flannel ink.

I began coloring with Copic markers, YR68 ad Y17 in the centers.

Added Y13.

Blended out from there with Y000.

Next I added some BV000.

Then BV00.

For the stem and leaves, I filled in with YG03.

Then added YG93 to tone down the brightness a bit.

Then added a bit of shading with YG97. After coloring, I cut out the flowers.

For the card base, I used Pure Luxury Sandy Beach card stock, cut and folded to form a 4 ¼ by 5 ½ inch base. The I masked a section using sticky notes and sponged Memento Bamboo Leaves above and below.

I used the sticky note mask as a guide to make raised score lines on the front of the card, using my Scor-Buddy.

I stamped the sentiment with Memento Espresso Truffle and adhered the flowers using Pop Dots. The only embellishment were a few self adhesive pearls to the flower centers.

Thanks for coming by. I hope you have a great day!
