A Birthday Toast For Gina!

Hello, everyone, and a very Happy Birthday to Gina! Today the Gina K Design Team is having a virtual birthday party to celebrate Gina's birthday and you're all invited. If  you came from Tina's blog, then you are at the right place.  If you are joining in part way through the hop, you can find the beginning at Cammie's blog.

I brought wine to the party! My card for Gina uses the wine glass from Melanie's A Charmed Life and the grapes from Asela's, Fruitful Harvest. Now lets head over to Michelle's blog to see what she is bringing to the party! After you finish hopping, please visit Gina's blog to leave a birthday wish on her blog and we will draw for two lucky names to receive a FREE stamp set!

First, I stamped the glass, from A Charmed Life, with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, then colored with Copic markers, starting with R24.

Shaded with R29.

Deepened the shading with R89.

Then I used C1 on the clear parts of the glass.

Added C3.

Then added just a touch of C5. After coloring, I cut out the image.

I stamped the grapes, from Fruitful Harvest, also with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with R24, leaving a highlight. Then I added some shading with R89 and used the blender pen to soften the look of the highlight.  I colored all the remaining grapes the same way.

For the leaves, I started by filling in with YG93.

Added YG97.

Then added YG95. After coloring, I cut out the image.

I wanted to make my grape cluster a little smaller, so I cut the grapes as shown.

Then I adhered the cut out portion on top of the ones still attached to the leaves, making a smaller image.

For the background, I sponged Memento Desert Sand on Pure Luxury White card stock.

Then sponged lightly with Memento Rich Cocoa.

I masked off the top portion with sticky notes and sponged more Memento Rich Cocoa.

This is what it looked like after I removed the mask.

I adhered my cut out images to the background, using Pop Dots on the top of the images and adhering directly to the background at the bottoms. Then I added a shadow from the grapes with R22 and R20.

Used N1 and N3 to add a shadow for the glass and leaves and also used it to go over the pink shadow to grey it up a bit.

I stamped the sentiment, from The Giving Tree, with Memento Tuxedo Black. I layered with Pure Luxury Chocolate Brown and used a Lipstick Red card base.

Thanks so much for stopping by and joining the party. I hope you have a wonderful day!
