Happy Friday! Here is another project from the GKD release last week. I showed this at the release party, but hadn't shared it here yet. I used Melanie's new Wild At Heart set, along with an image from Farm Life.
I started by stamping the large wildflower stamp with Versa Mark ink, on Pure Luxury Sweet Corn card stock. Then I sprinkled clear embossing powder over the image and melted it with my heat gun.
I used my Cottage Ivy Memento Marker to color in the stems and vines.
The clear embossing resists the ink, so after coloring, I just used a paper towel to wipe away the excess, leaving a nice clean image.
Next, I sponged the flowers with Memento Tangelo ink.
Then, to get a bit of contast, I cut a little circle from a sticky note and used it to mask the flower centers. With the mask in place, I sponged just a bit of Memento Lady Bug ink, just at the base of the petals.
I colored the watering can, from Farm Life, with Copics, starting with N5. This was on Pure Luxury Ivory.
Added N3.
Filled in with N1.
Used YG93 on the grass.
Accented the flowers with YR07 and added a bit of shading with YG91 to ground the image.
I cut out the image using Spellbinders Labels 9 Nestabilities, then sponged Memento Cantaloupe ink while it was still in the die.
Then sponged a tiny bit of Memento Tangelo.
The sentiment is from Wild At Heart. I layered the wildflower panel with Pure Luxury Ivory and used a Sweet Mango card base.
Thanks for visiting. I hope you have a great long weekend!
