Inspired Daisies

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there, especially my own mom!!! I hope you all have a wonderful day.

My card today is for the Trigger Tuesday challenge at Moxie Fab World. The challenge was to make a card inspired by this purse...

To make my card, I stamped the daisies, from Purrr-fectly Delightful and coloring with copics. I started with RV29.

Blended out from there with RV23.

Filled in with RV21.

I filled in the centers with YG03.

Then added shading with YG95, before using my blender pen to push in some highlights. Then I colored the remaining flowers the same way and cut them out.

For the top layer, I cut a piece of Pure Luxury White with my rectangle nestabilities, then sponged Memento Pear Tart while still in the die.

I stamped the branch, from Hang In There, with Memento Pear Tart.

For the lower layer, I stamped the dots, from Vintage Backgrounds, on Pure Luxury Creme De Menthe paper, using Pear Tart. Then I sponged more Pear Tart around the edges.

I layered with Pure Luxury White and Black Onyx and used a Cream De Menthe card base. The flowers were popped up with Pop Dots and I added some pink self adhesive pearls.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a great day!!!

Very pretty card! Having only scrapbooked, I've never made cards before so I'm definetly inspired to try and make some myself. I love the way the flowers turned out. I visiting this and other craft blog sites, I keep hearing about these copic markers but I didn't see them at my local Michaels yesterday. Thanks for sharing! :)
