Hello stampers! Today I wanted to take the kitty, from Purrr-fectly Delightful out of the teacup and make it look like he is looking out a window. I've also been wanting to color him like a calico kitten and finally got around to doing that.
I stamped the kitty, not worrying about getting the teacup completely inked up. I used Copic R20 for a little color around the mouth.
Once I had the basic color pattern down, I went back with E53, E35, N5 and N7 and added fine lines, for more dimension. Then I cut out the image.
The daisies are from the daisy vase, partially stamped, colored and then cut out. I started with RV29.
Used my blender pen to soften the highlights, then used E35 and E51 for the flower center.
For the background, I cut a piece of Pure Luxury Ivory with my rectangle Nestabilities, then sponged with Memento Desert Stand, while still in the die.
All the images are adhered with Pop Dots. I used my Martha Stewart punch and Ivory cardstock to make the little branches. The background was layered with Pure Luxury Cranberry Tart and adhered to an Innocent Pink cardbase. Before adding the layers to the cardbase, I first embossed a rectangle on it, using my Nestabilities.
Thanks for stopping by. I'll be back Sunday night with the first Gina K previews for the next release. Have a wonderful weekend!
