Gina K Blog Hop Day 1

Hello! Today, the crew from StampTV are having a blog hop featuring images from the new stamp release at Gina K Designs.

Today, we are featuring the new stamp set “Year of Flowers 3” illustrated by Melanie Muenchinger and the “Birds & Blossoms 2” set illustrated by Theresa Momber (me!). In the card above, I used images from Birds and Blossoms 2. I have a video coming soon to show you how I made it.

Here is a look at the full Birds and Blossoms stamp set.

Here is another card using images from Birds and Blossoms 2, this one with the same branch image and the finch. (shown at release party last week)

In this card I used Melanie's A Year of Flowers 3. The flowers are stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic markers.

And here is a look at the A Year of Flowers 3 stamp set.

Here is another card I made using flowers from Melanie's set, along with a silhouette branch and sentiment from my set. (shown at release party last week)

Enjoy the gorgeous inspiration samples from the team and then comment on each blog for your chance to win an awesome grab bag of GKD goodies!!! To see who won, check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hop.

Fabulous set, love the pearls! The bird card is such a nice mix of colors and layers, I love having the bold leaf to add to the line art branch. That purple card is awesome, you are rocking the tulips!

Just when I think I should "go bold," I view your cards and love the soft look. No one can shade like you. So glad to see your work again.

I just love the cards you made. I must be too heavy handed on the sponging as it never turns out like yours do. These are so gorgeous!

Your new set is wonderful and your cards are wonderful as always. I wish my sponging and coloring were as good as yours, but it's fun to keep trying. Love your videos, but I really miss your step by step instructions on your blog. They're easier for me to use for reference than the videos.

Oh Theresa, I love these cards. What a splendid job. One of the things I like the most about your cards is that they are always so soft and subtle. Every card you've ever done has touched me in one way or another. There is so much feeling in your talent. Thank you for cards that are so tender and speak to me in such beauty.

I just love ALL of your stamp sets. They tell a story. This one is no different. It is so much fun to lay out all of your sets (that I have) and create a scene. Thanks for teaching me how to easily make a background for my cards.

I am glad that you are now well enough to be back on STV, you have been missed. I really like your new cards and am looking forward to your videos. Your first and third cards are especially appealing to me.

I received a copy of your "Sweet Strawberries" as a prize from the blog hop on February 1, and am anxious to work through your tutorials from May 2012 -- but first I need to buy the 6-count set of red Spectrum Noir markers.
