Golden Holiday Tree Tutorial
Hello! Today I have a quick little tutorial for another of the cards I shared at the GKD release party last week.
I stamped the tree, from Joyful Holiday, using Versa Mark ink, then sprinkled gold embossing powder before heat setting. After embossing, I cut out the image using Spellbinders™ Nestabilities® A2 Matting Basics B.
Then sponged Memento Cantaloupe ink around the edges.
And sponged a bit of Memento Desert Sand.
I added red gems to the tree. The sentiment was stamped with Memento Love Letter and cut out. I layered with Pure Luxury Metallic gold card stock, also cut with A2 Matting Basics B and used an Ivory card base (4 ¼ by 5 ½ inches). The bow was made using pretty swirly ribbon from Creative Impressions.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful day!

Holiday Sprig Card Tutorial
Hello! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Here is a card I shared at the Gina K release party last week, featuring images from my new set, Joyful Holiday and Zva Creative bling.
To begin, I cut a circle, with my Spellbinders™ Circle Nestabilities®, and sponged Mmeento Rhubarb Stalk, while still in the die template.
Stamped the branch using Memento Bamboo Leaves.
Then I stamped the bow to hang from the branch. For the center bow, I used a mask to make it hang shorter than the others.
I colored the smallest ornament with Copics, R24 and R27.
Colored the medium ornament with B21 and B24. I forgot to snap a photo of the largest ornament, but I think I used G3 and G7.
I cut out all three ornaments and adhered to the background.
I used a layer of Pure Luxury Fresh Asparagus, crimped with my paper crimper. I added a layer of white and a Cherry Red card base (4 ¼ by 5 ½). I also added some gorgeous Zva Creative bling, using some of the gems on the berries of the mistletoe.
Thanks for dropping by. I hope your day is bright and beautiful!

CSS Hopping, Pumpkin Card Tutorial and A Chance to Win
Hello and happy weekend! Today I am hopping along with the CSS Alumni Design Team from StampTV. The CSS Team are an amazing group of talented designers that feature Gina K stamps in a blog hop each month. This month Melanie Muenchinger and I asked them to do a special hop featuring some of our illustrations. Be sure to check out what this fabulous group of designers have come up with.
And be sure to leave comments along the way for a chance to win! I'll be giving away my Country Roads stamp set to one person be chosen randomly from the comments from all the blogs. And there are two chances to win, because Melanie has a stamp you can win, as well.
Check out all the wonderful inspiration...

I started by stamping the pumpkins, from Hearfelt, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
I used Copic markers to color, beginning with YR68.
Added YR65.
Then I went over the orange with Y17 to make them a little brighter.
Then filled in with YR61.
For the stems, I used YG97 and blender pen. After coloring, I cut out the pumpkins.
For the background, I sponged Memento Cantaloupe ink on white card stock.
Then sponged Memento Bamboo Leaves.
Next, I sponged Memento Morocco around the edges.
Using the windmill, from Country Roads, I inked with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, stamped off on scratch paper once, then stamped the image on my background.
Using the larger foliage image, I stamped several times with Memento Bamboo Leaves.
Then used the smaller foliage, stamping with Memento Bamboo Leaves, also.
I layered with Pure Luxury Chocolate Brown, Fresh Asparagus and Honey Mustard, crimping the Honey Mustard layer, with my paper crimper, before adhering. The card base is Pure Luxury Sweet Corn, 5 ½ by 4 ¼ inches. The pumpkins were adhered with Pop Dots and I stamped the sentiment with Memento Morocco.
