Hello and happy Friday to you! Here is the tutorial for one of the cards I shared during the blog hop on Monday. I used images from my newest stamp set, Wild About You.
To begin, I cut a card base, using Pure Luxury White card stock, to 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 inches. I cut a circle from a piece of scratch paper, using Spellbinders Circle Nestabilities, to use as a mask. I adhered it to my card base, using re-positionable tape, letting the one side of the circle extend off the side of the card base. Then I sponged Memento Dandelion ink.
I adhered a smaller circle for the sun, and sponged Memento Cantaloupe ink around that.
Next, I sponged Memento Tangelo ink, starting at the edges of the circle and working in.
Sponged Memento Lady Bug.
Sponged Memento Potter's Clay.
I masked off the top of the circle, using sticky notes, then sponged Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
Then I moved the sticky notes to mask off the bottom and stamped the tiny grass, so that just the tips of the blades would show.
I stamped the tree with Stazon Jet Black ink.
Then stamped one of the giraffe silhouette images, also with Stazon Jet Black.
I stamped the sentiment on a strip of Pure Luxury Kraft card stock and adhered with Pop Dots. I used my Scor-Buddy to add some decorative lines to my card base.
Thanks for visiting. I hope you have a great weekend!!

This is an awesome card - the kind of style I aspired to when I started stamping, somehow I've gotten away from this type of simple card.
This is a great card: I love it!
Very impressive, love your design. Thanks for sharing the progress photos.
