Hello! I have a card today using my new set, Vogue Vases. Before I get to the details, I want to apologize to everyone that is waiting to hear back from me by email. The past month was a bit crazy because my dad was very sick and spent most of the time in the hospital. He is doing much better and definitely on the road to recovery despite a number of setbacks. Thank you for all the encouragement and prayers that so many of you offered on his behalf. I'm trying to get back into the swing of things and hope to start catching up on emails soon.
To make my background I started by sponging Memento Summer Sky ink.
Then sponged Memento Danube Blue.
I masked the top using sticky notes and sponged around the bottom with Memento Rich Cocoa.
Then sponged Memento Desert Sand.
I removed the mask and stamped the border image twice using Memento Danube Blue ink.
Then stamped the solid vase using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
I used a sticky note to mask the vase and stamped the palm foliage using Memento Bamboo Leaves.
Then I used my N3 Copic marker to add a shadow under the vase.
I layered with Pure Luxury Black Onyx and used a Baby Boy Blue card base.
Thanks for visiting. I hope you have a wonderful day!

Theresa- you've been missed. So glad to hear that your Dad is recovering!
This card is gorgeous. I have only had a chance to make one card with this set so far, but more will be on the way!
What vision you have! This is a fabulously designed set and you do marvelous things with it!
Beautiful, Theresa. You took me to the Casbah! Glad to hear your dad is doing better. Sending all good wishes his way!
very nice, tfs!
What a beautiful card and the great tutorial. I really like the shadow effect.
I'm so pleased your father is OK Theresa. It's such a worry when parents take ill. I love your card, well, I love ALL your cards. This one has captured my imagination. It looks a little Moroccan/Egyptian.
Great stuff! Viv xxx
