Start by stamping the flower image, from Vertical Greetings 2, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and color in the center of the flower using Spectrum Noir marker CT2.
Begin coloring the petals with Spectrum marker CR8.
Add CR10.
Add OR1.
Then fill in with CT2.
For the stem and petals, fill in with CG2 and then use DG3 to shade. After coloring, cut out the image.
Trim white cardstock to 4 ¼ by 11 inches and score at 5 ½ inches, but don't fold on the score line yet. It is easier to work on a single layer card if you keep it flat, but having the score line in place helps you line up the different elements you may want on the card.
Use sticky notes to mask off the bottom left corner.
Sponge lightly along the mask using Gina K Fresh Asparagus ink with your Jumbo Sponge Dauber.
Turn the card base over and line up a die template, using Spellbinders® A2 Matting Basics A, securing with repositionable tape, then emboss. This will create a raised frame on the front of your card.
Stamp the sentiment, also from Vertical Greetings 2, using Gina K Black Onyx ink.
Cut and emboss Spellbinders Sprigs die template from Jelly Bean Green cardstock. Then sponge the tips of the leaves using Fresh Asparagus ink. Adhere the branch and flower image to the card base, then fold on the score line. Finished card size - 4 ¼ by 5 ½ inches.
