Hello! It's release day at Gina K Designs and all the illustrators are blog hopping to share a few more peeks at our new stamp sets. I'm sharing a card with my new set, By The Sea 2. This set and all the new stamp sets and products will be live at the online store at 7pm Central time.
I'll share all the details for my card below, but for now, be sure to check out all the wonderful creations the rest of the team has to show you…
Gina K
Becky Oehlers
Beth Silaika
Carolyn King
Debbie Corbari
Melanie Muenchinger
Tami Mayberry
To make my card, I started by cutting and scoring Pure Luxury white card stock to form a 4 ¼ by 5 ½ inch card base. I cut a circle from a piece of scratch paper to create a mask, then I held the mask in place, on the card front, using low tack tape.
Next, I sponged a new Gina K Ink Color, Sweet Corn!
Then sponged another new color, Sweet Mango, just around the edges.
I inked up the heron silhouette image, with the new Gina K Black Onyx ink pad, using a sticky note to keep ink off the stump.
I removed the mask from the card front and the mask from the inked up stamp, then stamped the heron right over the sun.
After stamping the heron, I stamped the pampas grass. Then I stamped the smaller grass, using Gina K Honey Mustard ink, stamped off once on scratch paper.
Next, I used some Copic markers (N3, N5 and N7) to shade below the scene.
Stamped the word "Always" using Gina K Black Onyx.
Then stamped "In my heart" using Gina K Honey Mustard.
All the images are from my new set, By The Sea 2 and will be available tonight at 7pm Central, along with all the new ink pads and stamp sets from all the illustrators. The release party also starts at 7pm at StampTV. There will be contest questions, challenges and lots of wonderful samples from the design team.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a fun day!

What can I say, except that every time I look at what you've created it just makes me happy!!
ReplyDeleteFrom these cards, I know I'm going to love this set! Absolutely gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThe reason is - video-on-demand market is the only model that works on subscriptions.
ReplyDeleteHulu have made sure set-top boxes such as roku cannot stream its content on your big screen tv.
It's quite small so won't take up any room at all and could easily be tossed behind your TV or
even on the opposite side of the room if you wish.
This is the set I am most excited about. I wish I had it in my hands right now.
ReplyDeleteTheresa, you do the most beautiful and interesting combinations! I adore your detailed illustrations to show exactly how to do it! Just love it! Keep up the good work!
