Gina K New Release Blog Hop Day 2

All of us at Gina K. Designs welcome you to another fabulous Inspiration Blog Hop! The Team will inspire you with many beautiful ideas.  And as you hop through their blogs, make sure to leave a comment on each of them because we will choose a few random comments and those stampers will each win a grab bag of deeply etched, pre-cut Gina K. Designs stamps along with other items valued at up to $25.00! (To see the full list of winners check the Big News forum at Stamp TV a couple of days after the hops.)

Hello! It's our second day of inspiration and today we are featuring three new stamp sets. First up is Beth Salaika's introductory set, Stippled Nature. You know I love nature inspired stamps and these are going to be fabulous go-to images! I stamped the large branch with Memento Bamboo Leaves on Pure Luxury Ivory card stock, then added a bit of shading with a Copic marker (YG95). Then I added a few highlights with an opaque white gel pen.

Next is a card with Becky Oehlers' new set, American Made. What a great set of images to make cards for guys, patriotic themes and even tags & labels for homemade gifts! To make the greeting panel, I stamped each word with Memento inks one time, then additional times after stamping off on scratch paper to make the word lighter. I layered with Pure Luxury Little Boy Blue and Lipstick Red. I used Sandy Beach to make a 5 ½ by 4 ¼ inch card base and stamped the stripes and stars using Memento inks. Then on the bottom, stamped "American Made" and added score lines on either side.

The third card today is made using Tami Mayberry's fantastic new set, Lighthearted Wishes. I love that Tami included three different lamp designs in this set, along with the lightbulb and there are so many fun sentiments! I stamped the lamp on Pure Luxury White card stock, then sponged Memento Cantlaoupe ink to make the glow. Then I stamped the lamp on GKD Petals and Wings pattern paper to paper piece the lamp shade. I added some self adhesive pearls to embellished, then layered with more Petals and Wings paper, along with Pure Luxury Bubblegum Pink. I cut the ovals using Spellbinders™ Nestabilities® Ovals and Scalloped Ovals.

You can see more wonderful samples using these new stamps sets from the rest of the Gina K team...
