Hello! Today is the final day of blog hops for the latest Gina K Designs release and we have two more new stamp sets to show you. First up is The Good Life, from Gina K, a fun summer stamp set that will be perfect for fun cards and scrapbooking all your favorite summer memories. More details about this card below...
Next up is the new Free With Three stamp set, Assorted Greetings, which you can earn for free simply by purchasing three regular stamps sets. This set has a nice variety of greetings for multiple occasions! I added a few images from Tropical Nature and Pretty Patterns, too.
Here is a look at the inside of the card. Don't you love that verse?! I'll post the tutorial for this card in a few days.
For more inspiration from the design team, check out the following links...
For the trees, on my The Good Life card, I colored with Copic markers, starting with G03.
I blended into the highlighted areas with G21.
Then added G28 to shade.
For the trunks, I used E59, then used my blender pen to soften the highlights, by letting the dark brown bleed into the blender solution. After coloring, I cut out the trees. I colored a second set of trees and cut those out, too.
For the campfire, I began with E39.
Then added E33.
For the flames, I started with Y17.
Then added YR07. I cut this image out, also.
Next, I cut most of a circle, using the largest die template in Spellbinders™ Classic Circles LG Nestabilities®, then sponged Memento Summer Sky ink.
Sponged Memento Danube Blue ink.
Sponged Memento Paris Dusk.
I cut a curve in a sticky note and masked the sky, then sponged Memento Paris Dusk.
Then sponged Memento Gray Flannel.
Then I made a starry sky by making dots with my opaque white gel pen.
The sentiment was cut out with Spellbinders Labels Eighteen and sponged with Memento Danube Blue ink while still in the die template. I adhered the trees and campfire with Pop Dots, then layered with Pure Luxury In The navy and White. The card base is 5 ½ by 4 ¼ inches and made using Pure Luxury Baby Boy Blue.
Thanks for spending time with me. I hope you have a happy day!
