I stamped the barn on a piece of Pure Luxury White card stock, cut to 3 1/4 inches by 5 1/4 inches and used Copics to color, starting with N7.
Added N5.
Added N3.
Filled in with N1.
I used the previous markers to deepen the shadows, then added a touch of BV11.
I colored over the entire image with a Versa Marker so my embossing powder would have something to stick to, then heat embossed with clear embossing powder.
I sponged Memento Cantaloupe ink in a horizontal band across the background. The embossing resists the sponging, so my image remains unchanged.
Sponged a narrow band of Rose Bud under the yellow. I used smaller sponge daubers to keep the band narrower.
Sponged a narrow band of Memento Tangelo below the pink.
Sponged the top area with Memento Summer Sky.
Then sponged Memento Danube Blue.
Then I sponged Memento Paris Dusk from the sides, trying to make it look like clouds.
I used sticky notes to mask the sky and sponged Memento Tuxedo Black ink along the bottom.
I used N7 to add some shadows on the ground in front of the barn. Used BV00 and BV11 to add a little lavender color just along the horizon line.
I layered with a piece of Pure Luxury Black Onyx and used Little Boy Blue for my 5 1/2 by 4 1/4 inch card base. The sentiment is from the new free with three set, Various Verses.
