Strong Butterfly

Hello and Happy Halloween! My card today uses images from my new stamp set, Strength and Hope.

It is also my sample card for a challenge I'm hosting at StampTV this week. You can find all the details here. One random participant with win a free stamp set from Gina K Designs. I hope you'll play!

I started by stamping the butterfly on a piece of PL white cardstock. I used Copics to color, starting with R08.

Blended out from there with YR07.

Added Y17.

Added Y13.

Then filled in with Y000.

For the ribbon, I started with RV19 in the shadows.

Then added RV25.

Added RV23.

Filled in with RV21.

I cut a circle of Pure Luxury Ivory, using my Nestabilties and sponged with Memento Cantaloupe ink while still in the die.

I used Lacy Scallop Circles to cut Pure Luxury Sweet Corn and sponged Cantaloupe again, while still in the die.

The finished card is 4 1/4 by 5 1/2. I sponged the sentiment layer the same way as the larger layer. The larger rectangle layer is Ivory, sponged with Cantaloupe ink and then embossed with my Swiss Dots Cuttlebug foler.
Thanks for visiting. I hope you have a fun and safe day!
