Autumn Treat Basket

Hello there! I made this little basket for the Scor-Pal challenge on Facebook. There are only a few days left to play and you can win a new Kindle! I hope you get a chance to head over and play along. I used the biggest die of my Scallop Circle Grand Nestabilities to make the basket.

After cutting the scallop circle, I placed it on my Scor-Pal, centering the valley between two scallops at the 4 inch mark. Then I scored at 2 3/4 inches and 5 1/4 inches.

I rotated the circle 180 degrees and again centered on the 4 inch mark. This time the center is going to be the center of a scallop, rather than the valley. Scored again at 2 3/4 inches and 5 1/4 inches.

Next I cut along the score lines, as shown in the photo and folded all the score lines.

Used Scor-Tape to adhere the sides.

And here is the basic box before adornment.

I used the pumpkins, from Heartfelt, and colored with Copics, starting with R08. I only used the two pumpkins on the left, so I didn't worry about stamping a complete image on the right.

Added YR04.

Filled in most of the rest with Y17, then used the blender pen to saturate the highlights, allowing the color to bleed into the highlights.

I added some shading with BV11, then used YG95 on the stems.

Added some shading to the stems with YG99. After coloring, I cut out the pumpkins.

I stamped the sentiment, from Fanciful Fall, and cut it out with oval Nestabilities. Then I sponged the edges and layered with Pure Luxury Pumpkin Spice. I adhered the pumpkins with Pop Dots and added a few leafs (from Celebrate the Season). The handle is 1/2 inch by 9 inches and adhered with brads.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a great day!
