You Rock

Join us for a Card Drive for Kids with Spina Bifida blog hop! Members of Gina K.'s Design Team have come together to host a hop where we will share with you cards we created for some very special kids! You can find more details on this special cause over at StampTV.

If you came from Tina Gilliland, you're at the right place. If not make sure to head over to StampTV (link to StampTV's main forum) where you will find a list of all those participating in today's hop and more information on the card drive.

Head on over to Suzanne Dean to see what she's sharing with you today!

And now a bit about my card...

I cut my background to 2 3/4 by 4 inches. All the images are from Dino-mite. I stamped the volcano using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored with Copics, starting with BV11.

Added C3.

Then added C5.

I used a sticky note to mask the top and sponged Memento Desert Sand ink.

Then I trimmed the sticky note to fit the volcano and sponged Memento Summer Sky ink.

Next, I stamped the tree on another piece of Pure Luxury white card stock, and began coloring with YG03.

Added YG07.

Added YG09.

Then a bit of shading with R02.

For the trunk, I started with E31.

Added E35.

Then added E25.

Then I stamped the dinosaur and colored the mouth with R02 and filled in the body with YR000.

Added YR12 to the body.

Added YR16.

Added YR18.

I did a little more shading with BV11. I added it to the mouth also. After coloring, I cut out both images.

I stamped the sentiment on the front of my card base then made some temporary pencil marks so I would know where to end my score lines, the used my Scor-Buddy to score an accent line.

I layered with Pure Luxury Pumpkin Spice. The card base is Turqouise Sea and sized 5 1/2 by 4 1/4 inches.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope your day is wonderful!
