I stamped the bird with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used Copics to color, starting with YR04.
Added YR12.
Added Y17.
Added Y15.
Added Y13.
I decided the head wasn't dark enough so I added a little YR07 and used YR04 for blend.
For the wing, I started with BG05.
Added B02.
Added V06.
Added V04.
Filled in with V000.
On the tail, I started with YR07.
Added YR04.
Added Y17.
Filled in with Y15. After coloring, I cut out the image.
I sponged the background with Memento Cantaoupe ink.
Then sponged Memento Angel Pink in the opposite corner.
Sponged Memento Rose Bud ink.
Sponged Memento Tangelo.
I stamped the branch with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
I colored the leaves with YG23.
I layered with Pure Luxury Black Onyx and used a Bubblegum Pink card base. I used my Scor-Buddy to score lines on the card base and oval Nestabilities to cut out the sentiment.
Thanks for visiting. Have a great day!
