We have a fun evening planned with chatting, challenges, contest questions and lots of beautiful card projects to share. Gina will reveal the full stamp sets, including a look at the new StampTV Kit, Falling for You.
Hope to see you at the party, here are all the details:
- When: Today, Tuesday, August 2
- Where: StampTV Release Party Forum
- Time: 7 PM to 9 PM (CST)
To make my card, I stamped the pumpkins and colored with Copic markers, starting with YR18.
Then added YR16.
Added YR12 and used my blender pen to soften the highlights that I left uncolored.
I used YG95 on the stems.
Then I used N3 to add some shading around the stems and the bottoms of the pumpkins. After coloring, I cut out the image.
For the fence, I started with E59.
Added E57.
Then added E51, again using my blender pen to soften the highlights.
For the background (approximately 3.25 by 4.5 inches) I sponged Memento Cantaloupe ink.
Then sponged Memento Bamboo Leaves.
Then sponged lightly around the edges with Memento Rich Cocoa.
I drew in some grass with YG93, making quick swipes with my marker, lifting the pen as I swiped to make the blades come to a point as the pen left the paper.
Added more blades of grass with YG95.
I cut out the fence and used Pop Dots to adhere. Actually, I used narrow pieces of the leftover stuff after removing the dots. This was the perfect size for the narrow pickets of the fence. I only added the Pop Dots to the tops of the pickets and adhered the bottom directly to the background.
I added the pumpkin image with Pop Dots, also only at the top and adhering the bottoms directly to the background. I like to do this sometimes, because it really gives a neat dimensional look, almost like a pop up card.
I layered with Pure Luxury Chocolate Brown and used a Fresh Asparagus card base.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a fabulous day!
