Gina K Inspiration Hop Day 2

Hi there! It's day two of the Gina K New Release Blog Hops and today the Design Team are spotlighting two of the new stamp sets, Heartfelt and Basket Buddies. My first card is with Heartfelt, a new set I illustrated. Details below...

Next up is the sweetest stamp set, Basket Buddies, illustrated by Melanie Muenchinger. Aren't these puppies adorable? This set also has two darling little kittens and so many sentiments that will work for almost any pet occasion. Basket Buddies also coordinates with Melanie's Spring Basket stamp set! I'll share the step by step photos for this card next week. Be sure to check out what the rest of the Design Team has to show you..

I colored the coneflowers with Copics, starting with V09.

Added V04.

Filled in with V01.

For the centers, I dotted in some Y17.

Then added E35.

On the foliage, I used YG23.

Then added YG95. After coloring, I cut out the image.

I cut a circle using circle Nestabilities and sponged Memento Bamboo Leaves.

Then sponged Memento Lulu Lavender on the other side.

Sponged Memento Grape Jelly.

I layered with Pure Luxury Vibrant Purple, cut with scallop circle Nestabilites, then cut a portion off and adhered both to the Pure Luxury Lovely Lavender card base. I adhered the flowers with Pop Dots and added the sentiment, cut with petite oval Nestabilities. I used my Scor-Buddy to add the score line details.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope your day is fabulous!
