Gina K Previews - Day 2

Hello! Today, I have previews for two new stamp sets from Gina K Designs. First up is a new set illustrated by me, called Dino-mite. This is quite a departure from my usual style and I had such fun drawing these cute little dinosaurs. I used the Tyrannosaurus Rex image, along with two background stamps on this card. Details below

And here is the inside of my card, using the same dinosaur, this time with a party hat added.

Next up is such a wonderful and elegant set from Tami Mayberry, called Hopeful Hearts. I just love the beautiful heart images and uplifting sentiments she included in this set. This heart is my favorite in the set. I heat embossed it with clear embossing powder, then sponged the pink background.

For more inspiration using today's sets, be sure to check out what the rest of the design team, and our fabulous guest designer, Latisha Yoast, have created.
Tomorrow we preview the new StampTV Kit! Then on Thursday, two more preview and the release party at StampTV, from 7-10pm Central. I hope you'll join us for lots of chatting, contest questions, challenges and full stamp reveals.

After stamping the dino with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, I colored with Copics, starting with YR18.

Then I added YR14.

I went over the previous two colors with Y17, then blender out a little further from there.

Filled in with Y21, then used my blender to push some highlights back in.

I added pale blue to the eyes, with B00. For the tongue, I used R02 and R05. For the deeper part of the mouth, I used N5 and N3. After coloring, I cut out the image.

I stamped the tree, then added YG05 to the leaves.

Shaded with YG95 and used my blender pen to scrub away some color for highlights.

Used E55 on the trunk.

Then added E57 to shade. After coloring, I cut out the image.

I cut a piece of Pure Luxury White cardstock, using Labels 9 Nestabilities and, using my Jumbo Sponge Dauber, sponged while still in the die, starting with Memento Summer Sky.

Then I sponged Memento New Sprout.

Sponged a little Memento Desert Sand at the bottom.

I stamped the volcano using Tuxedo Black ink, and colored with Copics, starting with E35.

Added E31.

Added W3.

Then I used C1 on the snow capped peak.

I used Pop Dots to adhere my images to the background and to adhere my background to the card base. The base is Pure Luxury Sweet Corn. I used my Scor-buddy to add the score lines at the bottom. The sentiments are also from Dino-mite.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful day!
