Sweet Little Bear

Hello, stampers! I can't believe how fast the days are flying by. Where does the time go? I need more hours in the day and more sleep. This sweet little number is a card I made for the release party last week for Gina K Designs. I used two of the new stamp sets from this release, Oh, Baby! and Lovely Labels.

To color the bear, from Oh Baby!, I started with Copic, E57.

Added E35.

Filled in with E53.

For the lighter sections, I used E31 and E33. For the bow, I used R22. After coloring, I cut out the bear.

I stamped the frame from Lovely Labels, with Memento Rose Bud, then cut it out with my Labels 1 Nestabilities, die. Since I am clumsy and have a hard time keeping my Nestabilities in place as I run them through the Cuttlebug, I like to use tape, to hold them in place.

If you use a very sticky tape like Scotch tape, be sure to only let the tape touch parts of the cardstock that will be scrap. Otherwise, your paper will be damaged when you remove the tape. Another option, so you don't have to worry about damaging your paper, is to use a low tack tape, like drafting tape. You can even use the sticky part of a post-it note to hold the nestie in place.

I stamped and colored the wooden blogs, from Oh, Baby, also using Copics again. I layered the images abd popped then up with Pop Dots. I used my tiny dots CB folder on the Innocent Pink layer, then used Tan Leather and Ivory for additional layers, and an Innocent Pink card base. That lace border was created using my Martha Stewart lace border punch.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!
