Hiya! Since Father's Day is a few days away, I guess I need to get some cards made for it. I used Melanie's latest set, Sporty Accessories to make this card.
Here are the details...
I started by stamping the baseball on a piece of Pure Luxury White. Then I stamped again on a post-it note to make a mask. After cutting the mask, I placed it on the baseball and then stamped the bat.
Then I masked the bat and stamped the mit and football.
With a mask on the mit and football, I stamped the soccer ball and basketball.
I colored the images with Copics, starting with E53, E33 and Y21 on the bat.
I used E53, E33 and Y21, E53, Y23 and E35 for the mit.
For the football, I used E57, E37, E55, E33 and E35.
I colored the basketball with E37, YR14, E35 and E31.
I used N3, N5, C1 and C3 to add shading and shadows and B41 on the hand grip of the bat.
Created some background paper using a stamp from Ribbons and Stripes.
I kept the card design very simple, layer with the patterned paper I made and a piece of Pure Luxury Rocket Red, all on a Pure Luxury White cardbase.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope your day is filled with fun!
You did an amazing job with masking, Theresa! I love the background you stamped too!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card!
Beautiful job Theresa! I love baseball (all sports, but my fave is bb), so this card made me smile! I found some amazing 'masking paper' at a rubber stamp convention this past weekend for masking! You would love it - let me know if you'd like the details - as much masking as you do, I automatically thought of you! Great card - thanks for sharing!
