Hello Happy Stampers! Today I am sharing a card I showed at the Gina k release party last week. I used Asela's new Zoo Animals set.
Here are a few details on how I made this card.
Started by coloring the giraffe with Y21 and Y23 Copic markers. I put Y21 down all over, then added Y23 around the edges, blending it with Y21.
Added Y17 to the edges and used the previous two colors to blend.
Added YR12 and used the previous three colors to blend.
Used YR16, YR14 and E37 on the spots.
To make the strip of grass on the bottom of the card, I used a strip of Kiwi Kiss cardstock and cut blades in a random pattern along the edge. Then I cut the strip down to fit the card.
I sponged the background and used a stamp from Tropical Flowers, inked with Old Olive and stamped off once to add some greenery. The oval layers were cut with my nestabilities.
That's all for today. I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend!
