Hello and Happy Friday! I want to share a card I made for the Gina K release party last night, featuring images from my new stamp set, Vertical Greetings.
To start, stamp the dragonflies on Pure Luxury white cardstock, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
Begin coloring with Copic marker, V04.
Add BV12.
Then using N7 for the body. After coloring, cut out both images.
For the card base, trim cardstock to for a 4 ¼ by 5 ½ inch base and score in the middle, but don't fold yet. Use sticky notes to mask the edges of the card front. leaving a small rectangle in the cent.r
Sponge Memento Rose Bud ink in the lower part and Memento Cantaloupe on the top.
Sponge very lightly around the edges on the bottom with Memento Grape Jelly.
Then sponge a bit of Memento Tangelo at the top.
Stamp the silhouette branch using Memento Rose Bud ink.
Remove the mask and turn the card base over. Secure a Spellbinders® A2 Matting Basics A die template over the back of the card base front and emboss.
After embossing the frame, turn the card base back over to the front and stamp the sentiment, using Gina K Black ink.
Fold and crease card base, then adhere the dragonflies to the front.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
