Begin by stamping the poppy image on white cardstock, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Then start coloring with Copic marker, B41.
Add B23.
Then add B26.
For the stems, use YG25.
Cut/emboss white cardstock using Spellbinders® A2 Matting Basics A. Then sponge around the edges, with the die cut still in the die template, using Gina K Powder Blue ink.
Add a little more color by sponging with Gina K Blue Denim ink.
Stamp the vertical sentiment on a strip of white cardstock. Adhere the flowers to the die cut using dimensional foam squares and mat both layers with Pure Luxury Black Onyx. The card base is Pure Luxury Powder Blue.(4 ¼ by 5 ½ inches)

ReplyDeleteTheresa, I save all of your copic tutorials to learn from and they do help, even when I don't use the same colors! I was really skeptical of these vertical sentiments though, love you as I do. But now, seeing them used, I am enthralled with their versatility and very excited about them -- for scrapbooking as well! I hope someone shows a page using them!
ReplyDeleteYour blue poppies are gorgeous. I always enjoy your tutorials. I was also a little skeptical about the vertical sentiments, but the verticals I've used in the past were rubber mounted on very narrow pieces of wood. I think clear will be much easier to use.
