To begin, cut/emboss Spellbinders Majestic Labels Twenty-five #4 (with #1 being the smallest die template). Then sponged Memento Cantaloupe ink, while still in the die template.
Sponge around the bottom edge with Memento Toffee Crunch.
Sponge Memento Tangelo along the top edge.
Using a sticky not to mask the bottoms of the stems, stamp the foliage, from Heartfelt, using Memento Toffee Crunch. I was careful when inking to leave one of the stalks unlinked.
Stamp the image a second time, then set the background aside.
Stamp the pumpkins, also from Heartfelt, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
Fill in using Copic marker Y17.
Add YR12.
Add YR04.
Add YR18.
Add just a bit of shading with BV11.
For the stems, use YG95. After coloring, cut out the image, then set aside.
For the card front, place Majestic Labels Twenty-five #5 & #6 on Spellbinders Magnetic Spacer Plate to help keep them in place. Then cut/emboss ivory cardstock.
After cutting/embossing, sponge, while still in the die templates, using Memento Toffee Crunch ink.
To make the shaped card base, trim Pure Luxury Sandy Beach cardstock to 6 1/2 by 8 1/2 inches, then score at 4 1/4 inches. Fold and crease on score line.
Place the card base on Majestic Labels Twenty-five #6, with the fold slightly inside the cut line of the die template. Hold in place with low tack tape, then cut.
After cutting, you have the shaped card base with the fold intact because of your careful placement in the die template.
Adhere the card front die cut to the card base. Tie twine around the background layer, then adhere with 3D Foam Squares. Adhere the pumpkins, also with 3D Foam Squares.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a fabulous day!

ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful card! Thank you for the inspiration, IO bought these dies but the first time I was using them, I was thinking they worked like Radiant Rectangles, which they don't, and I lost my mojo :/ I was even thinking of seeling these dies, but decided to see what others have made with them and found your blog.
