Spellbinders Spring Blog Hop and Giveaway Day 6

Hello and welcome to day six of the Spellbinders™ Spring Blog Hop and Giveaway! I'm so excited to be participating in my first Spellbinders blog hop. My project features the beautiful Spellbinders™ Shapeabilities® Floral Tags die templates.

For my project I made a wrapped gift and matching card.

Here is a close up of the gift with a tag made using Spellbinders Floral Tags. I wrapped my gift using the same My Minds Eye designer paper that I used on my card and tied a bow using left over wired Christmas ribbon.

And here is a closer look at the card.

Spellbinders™ Paper Arts Supplies:

Preferred Partners
JustRite® Stampers Family Garden Stamp Set
Want2Scrap Pearls
Gina K. Designs™  Pure Luxury card stock

Cross Promotional Partners
Xyron Adhesive runner
Elmers X-acto Corner Rounder

Other Supplies - Ink

I used my Spellbinders™ Grand Calibur® to cut ivory card stock and gold colored Spellbinders Precious Metals Craft Foil, using the rose dies from Floral Tags.

With the ivory card stock still in the rose tag die template, I sponged yellow ink around the edges to stencil.

Then I removed the tag from the die template and trimmed around the stenciled section. I stamped my sentiment on it, then adhered it to the foil rose tag. I also trimmed around the left over rose, to use for layering.

On the rose that I had trimmed, I sponged yellow ink, darker in the center and working out. I also sponged a bit of green on the leaves.

I added a bit of iridescent glitter and curled up the petals of the rose for added dimension and also placed a self adhesive pearl in the center. I used adhesive foam squares to attach the flower to the foil tag.

For the card, I sponged the same way on the larger rose.

I used Labels Eighteen die templates to cut ivory (die #3) and My Minds Eye (die #5) Miss Caroline Lovely designer paper. Then I sponged yellow ink while still in the die templates.

Stamped the sentiment and flourish on the smaller labels piece and added glitter and a pearl to the rose, then popped up the petals. I cut more gold foil using Fancy Tags 3 and adhered the layers using adhesive foam squares. I also added a few leaves, also from Floral Tags.
