How Sweet Tutorial

Happy Monday to you! Today I have a new Sweet Strawberries card to share with you.

To begin, I stamped the small strawberry plant on Pure Luxury white card stock, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored with Copics, starting with YG05.

Then I added YG97.

Started the strawberries with R89.

Added R29.

Added R24.

Then filled in with R22.

I used Spellbinders™ Nestabilities® Lacey Circles to cut out the image, then sponged with Memento Cantaloupe ink while still in the die template.

I cut an arc into a sticky note and used it to mask the top of the image. Then I sponged Memento Bamboo Leaves, creating a bit of a foreground.

Then I used W5 to add a shadow under the strawberry plant.

I stamped the sentiment on Pure Luxury White and cut it out with another Lacey Circles die template, also sponged with Memento Cantaloupe. I stamped and colored the small strawberry w/ flower and cut it out, adhering it to the sentiment layer. I cut a branch using Spellbinders Foliage Shapeabilities® set, and sponged Memento Bamboo Leaves while still in the die template. All the layers were adhered with Pop Dots. The card base is Pure Luxury Sweet Corn, 5 ½ by 4 ¼ inches. I added score lines to the card base with my Scor-Buddy.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a great start to your week!
