Gina K Inspiration Hop Day 3

Hey there! It's the third and final day of blog hops for the new GKD release. Today the Design Team are featuring two new stamp sets. First up is the new Free With Three stamp set, Cool Beans. I just love the images in this set and the best part - it's free when you purchase three stamp sets from Gina K. But it will only be free until the next release, when a new free set comes out. More details on this card below...

Next is a new set called My True Love Gave to Me. This is such a great set inspired by the classic holiday song. Even though it is a Christmas set, I thought it would be fun to show how you can use the images to make a romantic card. Change up the colors and this could be a Valentine card.

For more inspiration featuring Cool Beans and My True Love Gave to Me, be sure to check out the following designer's blogs...

I stamped the coffee grinder on a piece of 2 1/4 by 3 3/4 inch Ivory cardstock and colored with Copic markers. I started with E59.

Added E37.

Had a few photos that didn't come out just before this one. I added E33 and E51. The on the tag I used N3 and N1.
On the top, I started with C3.

 Then added C1.

I heat embossed the image with clear embossing powder to resist the ink from sponging, then sponged Memento Cantaloupe ink.

 Sponged Memento Desert Sand ink.

Sponged Memento Rich Cocoa.

I stamped the coffee cup on a piece of Pure Luxury white and colored the spoon with C3 and C1.

Then started with E19 on the cup.

 Added E17.

Lost another photo here. I added E15, then added E53.

Used E25 on the beans.

Then added a little shading to the beans with E29. After coloring, I cut out the images.

I adhered the cup and beans to the background, using Pop Dots to adhere the cup. Layered with Pure Luxury Chocolate Brown and cut a scallop border using Spellbinders Big Scalloped Border Petites from Pure Luxury Pumpkin Spice.I added a little Crystal Lacquer to the coffee cup and beans.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
