Dad's Day Boat

Hello. I made today's card similar to the one I did Monday. Sorry if I am being repetitive. I used the rowboat and water grass from Follow Your Dreams and the sentiment is from Gone Fishing.

To start I sponged a band of Memento Angel Pink in across the background.

Sponged a bit of Memento Cantaloupe ink.

Then I sponged Memento Summer Sky from the top and bottom.

Sponged Memento Paris Dusk.

To create the land in the horizon, I masked off the bottom with sticky notes, then used torn sticky notes to mask the top.

Sponged Memento Tuxedo Black.

I removed the mask and stamped the row boat.

I sponged Memento Tuxedo Black in the foreground.

Then stamped the water grass with Memento Paris Dusk.

I stamped the row boat again on another piece of white card stock and colored with Copics, starting with BV17.

Added B26.

Added B24.

Then filled in with C3.

I used N5 to add some more shading and then cut out the image.

The row boat was adhered with Pop Dots and the background was layered with Pure Luxury Black Onyx on a Baby Boy Blue card base.

Thank you for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!

  3. I have had SO MUCH DELIGHT with this set. I've played along with each "episode" and they have turned out well even with me using watercolor paints and pencils. I've made the commitment to purchase my first Copic marker. Any hints on how I should start buying these tools? And again, Theresa, This is a wonderful set of stamps, thank you!
