If you came from Suzanne's blog, you're at the right place. If not make sure to head over to StampTV where you will find a list of all those participating in today's hop.
Here is a card made with my new set, Follow Your Dreams, which will be available tonight!
Hope to see you at the party, here are all the details:
- When: Today, Thursday, April 21
- Where: StampTV Release Party Forum
- Time: 7 PM to 9 PM (CST)
Head on over to Tina's blog to see what sneak peek she's sharing with you today and see you back here tomorrow for the beginning of our three day Inspiration Blog Hop series for April!
To start, I sponged Memento Cantaloupe ink, in a horizontal band across the center.
Sponged Memento Desert Sand everywhere else.
Sponged Memento Rich Cocoa around the edges.
Stamped the water's edge using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
Masked the top using sticky notes and sponged Memento Desert Sand.
Sorry about the blurry picture. I stamped the trees twice with Memento Rich Cocoa. For the reflection, I just rotated the image and stamped before re-inking for a lighter impression.
I stamped the boat, not worrying about masking because I planned to place a cut out version over it. Stamping it on the background gave me the rest of the water's edge.
Colored in the foreground with my W3 Copic marker.
Added YG93.
Added some more sponging with Rich Cocoa to the foreground.
Used E35 to add some ripples to the water.
I stamped the boat again and started coloring with E49.
Added E57.
Added E35.
Filled in with E53.
I cut out the boat and adhered it to my background, then added the sentiment. I layered with Pure Luxury Chocolate Brown and used a Kraft card base.
Thanks for coming by. I hope you have a wonderful day!

ReplyDeleteJust love your cards Theresa, I'm a huge fan of yours. Can you please tell me how you get such perfect sponging all the time, is it the huge dauber you use or what? I use Stampin' Up! daubers but can't get the excellent finish you do. Please help, it certainly gives the card a polished look.
