Next up is the latest set designed by Nina Bracket, Lovely Labels 3. I used the big "hi" sentiment and the argyle label image. I also pulled in a few of the images from the new StampTV kit which work so well with the images in Lovely Labels 3. It's pretty rare that I make a vintage card and this one was fun.
Of course, I had to follow that vintage card up with something a bit more clean and simple. This time I used the same Lovely Labels 3 image (my favorite in the set) and paired it with the curved birthday sentiment. I added a swan from Warm With Love to the center and some Bring the Bling, glossed up with Crystal Lacquer, to embellish.
Next we have Perfect Pennants, designed by Tami Mayberry. These pennants will match perfectly to the new Spellbinders pennant dies. I made a super CAS card for my sample. I lined up each pennant using the guidelines on the acrylic block, then inked them up using Memento Markers. Then I stamped them all at once. After stamping, I used Copic markers to shade the inside and added a self adhesive nail brad between each. The sentiment is also from Perfect Pennants.

To color the grasshopper, I started with my Y17 Copic marker.
Added Y11.
Filled in the rest with YG21.
Added YG23.
Then added YG25.
For the leaf, I started with YG03.
Added YG05.
Then shaded with G07.
I used E37 for the stick pole and W3 to add some shading the leaf under the grasshopper.
Colored the surrounding water with B00.
Then B02.
Added a shadow under the leaf with N3 and around the grasshopper with C3.
Sponged around the bottom with Memento Bamboo Leaves.
Then added some wispy grass with swipes from my YG23 Copic marker.
Next, I sponged Memento Cantaloupe ink around the top.
I layered with Pure Luxury Fresh Asparagus and used a Wild Dandelion card base. The pattern paper is from the new StampTV kit.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!
This is adorable Theresa.
