I started by sponged a spot of Memento Cantaloupe ink for my sun.
I used a quarter inch circle, punched from a sticky note, to mask the sun, then sponged Memento Tangelo ink.
Then I sponged Memento Angel Pink in a horizontal stripe across the card stock.
Sponged Memento Lulu Lavender above and below the pink, again working horizontally.
Next, I sponged Memento Danube Blue from the top and bottom, meeting up with the lavender.
Sponged Memento Grape Jelly on top of the Danube Blue.
I placed sticky notes across the horizon line to mask the sky.
Then sponged Memento Danube Blue along the edge of the mask.
Here you can see what it looked like after I removed the masks.
I was trying to capture the hazy look of the horizon line that was in the photo, so I used the sticky notes again, this time masking the bottom. Then I used my sponge dauber that I used for Grape Jelly, but didn't re-ink it, and sponged along the edge.
Here you can see how it looked after I removed the mask.
I used more sticky notes to create a mask for the water's edge. This time I cut a slightly wavy line and placed it at an angle.
Sponged Memento Paris Dusk.
Then sponged Memento Tuxedo Black.
I removed the mask and stamped the grass, from Farm Life, using Stazon Jet Black ink, twice.
Stamped the sailboat, from Aloha, with Stazon.
Then I stamped the grass, Hang in There. I inked it with Memento Tuxedo Black, then stamped off on scratch paper before stamping on my project. I repeated that several times.
I added some highlights for the sun reflecting in the water by using an opaque white gel pen. Then I added some pink and yellow Copics right on top of the white.
Added some waves using my BV11 Copic marker.
I layered with a piece of Pure Luxury Black and used a white card base.
Thanks for dropping by. I hope your day is fun and fabulous!
