Next is a gift bag I made using the frog and mushroom images from Little Critters. The process for making this is very much like the gable box I showed yesterday. Even the measurements are nearly the same. I'll share the instructions for both projects on my blog next week.
Next up is another of Asela Hopkins beautifully illustrated sets, Chocolate Bunnies. I just love the adorable bunnies in this set! I used the biggest bunny on my card, along with one of the sentiments. (I also sneaked in a few eggs from Basket Blessings) I'll be sharing the step by step photos for this card soon, too.

I began by stamping the hedgehog with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloring with copics, starting with E00 all over the image.
I added E31 to shade areas of the head, feet and belly. For the spines, I made quick swipes with the marker in the same directions as the stamp.
Added more shading with N1 and more swipes for the spines.
More shading and swipes, this time with N3.
I added swipes with E57.
Then more swipes with N5. I made sure to leave some lighter areas for highlights and greater depth. After coloring, I cut out the hedgehog.
I stamped the flowers with Tuxedo Black in and colored with Copics, starting with B26.
I added B23.
Then filled in most of the way with B21, leaving some highlights. I went back with B26 to deepen the shading.
For the foliage, I started with G05.
Filled in with YG05.
Then deepened the shading with G07. After coloring, I cut out the image.
I cut a sheet of Pure Luxury Base Weight White to form a 4 inch square card base, then masked a square. Then I sponged Memento Bamboo Leaves ink.
Sponged Memento Lulu Lavender.
Then sponged lightly with Memento Grape Jelly.
I stamped the fern image twice, using Memento Bamboo Leaves, but stamping off on scratch paper first to make them lighter. Sorry about the blurry pic.
The hedgehog and flowers were adhered to the card base using Pop Dots, then I stamped the sentiment, using Memento Tuxedo Black.
Thanks for visiting. I hope you have a wonderful day!
