Hiya! This pretty image from Flourishes has been calling to me lately. The image is part of a set called Sweet Violets.
I stamped the image, then used Copic YG99 in the darkest parts of the leaves.
Added YG95.
Added YG93.
Next, I filled in with E51 and used my blender pen to push some highlights back in.
For the violets, I started with BV17.
Added BV13.
Used my blender pen to soften the highlights and used Y17 in the centers.
I cut out the image using rectangle Nestabilities and sponged Memento Cantaloupe while it was still in the die.
Sponged Memento Desert Sand.
I stamped and colored an additional image and cut out some flowers and leaves and popped them up on the first image, using Pop Dots. I layered the top panel with Pure Luxury Black Onyx cut with scallop rectangle Nestabilities.
The yellow layer is Pure Luxury Sweet Corn, sponged with Desert Sand and embossed with my Swiss Dots CB folder. Additional layers are Pure Luxury White and Black Onyx, with a Vibrant Violet cardbase.
Thanks for visiting. Have a wonderful day!

ReplyDeleteGorgeous - I love how the little violets pop off the page. Yesterday I finally went to the copics website and saw that there are over 300 different marker colours - I burst out laughing. No wonder your art is so fabulous when there are so many shades to work with. I would never know how to blend them so well!!! Always inspired. Thanks.
