Romantic Sunset

Hello Happy Stampers! I have another card from the Gina K release party last week, to share with you. I used images from the new stampTV kit, Eclectic Summer, to make this card.

Here are the details...

Started by sponging Pretty in Pink, lightly, over a piece of Pure Luxury white cardstock (paper was included in the kit).

Sponged with Regal Rose around the edges and started creating a horizon line with my sponging in the center.

Next I sponged with Real Red, again around the edges and horizon line.

Next I sponged some Bravo Burgundy around the edges, just on the bottom portion.

Sponged some Lavender Lace to make some clouds.

Used a few post-it notes along the horizon line to create a mask.

Sponged some Basic Black.

Removed the mask.

Re-positioned it to mask the top of the image. Then I sponged Going Gray ink for the reflection in the water.

Here is what I had after removing the mask again.

Stamped the kissing boaters.

Before assembling my card, I added some branches using a stamp from Tropical Flowers. Then I layered with Pure Luxury Black Onyx and placed on a Pure Luxury Rocket Red card base (the Rocket Red was also included in the kit). Finally, I added a flower, colored with Copics and cut out, to the corner. This is another image included with the Eclectic Summer kit.

I hope you are having a great day! Thanks for stopping by.
