I inked up another of my new MFT stamps yesterday, to make this ATC, for the Ways to Use It challenge at SCS. I've made a pledge to myself to do a better job at taking step by step photos of my projects. Do you like tutorials? Are there any in particular you'd like to see?
On with the details of this card. I used an Ann LaPoint stamp from MFT Presents, called Take a Break.
Started by coloring in the flowers which I will henceforth refer to as Lilacs because that is what they look like to me. I used Copic marker V01 in a small circular motion.
Added V04 along all the lines.
Added V06 in a thin line along all the lines, then used V01 to blend all over. Then I came back in again, with V04 and V06 in the same areas to make some darker shadows.
Added YG05 to the leaves and negative space between the flowers.
Added G07 along the center line of the leaves and dabbed it in the negative areas. Then I went over that with YG93, going heavier on one side of each leaf.
I went over the entire tub with RV21.
Went in with RV23 around all the lines, pretty heavily. Then used RV21 to blend it in.
Used RV25 right along the lines and then blended with RV23. Used my colorless blender to lighten up the center areas in each segment, then came back one more time over the lines with RV25.
Then I used C1 and C3 to added a bit of shading to the tub fixtures and top.
To finish off the card, I cut out my image and popped it up on an oval I cut with my nestabilities. I sponged the oval with Certainly Celery and then dry embossed with my Swiss Dots CB folder. A scalloped oval of Lavender Lace below that.
The pink rectangle was sponged with Regal Rose and pierced in the corners. The final layer of the ATC is Kiwi Kiss.
Thanks for visiting. Have a happy Friday!
